Sample Job Plan – Junior Chemical Trader

• Work in Operations/International Logistics for 6-12 months. Chemical traders worldwide will ask you to move their products inside a country and from one country to another.
• Work in the Finance Department and Accounting Department for 5-10 months. You will handle credit (banks, suppliers, partners, agents and customers); monitor financial transaction risks; open and follow up on Letters of Credit.
• Plan and develop a new market segment for petrochemicals in 2-4 months. After the insights gained from your activities in Operations/International Logistics and Finance, you will be tasked with researching a new market opportunity (either with a new product or an existing product).
•  Start trading on the newly developed market segment. Begin buying, selling or both.
